Legislative Assembly meeting deferred [1]

The Legislative Assembly’s meeting that was scheduled for 17 October is deferred to 24 October. 

The deferral was due to a request from Government in order to facilitate responsibilities in the coming week, including a Defense Ministers’ Meeting to be hosted in Nuku'alofa.

The Legislative Assembly stated today that its next meeting is now scheduled for Monday 24 October.

Meanwhile, the deferral was approved by the Legislative Assembly on 13 October by resolution obtained through circulation.
