Tongans Women's team wins first game at International Defence Rugby [1]

The Ngahau Siliva, His Majesty’s Armed Forces (HMAF) Women’s Rugby Team won their first game Vanuatu and PNG 78-0 at the International Defence Rugby Competition in Auckland, New Zealand.
The Tongans played against the joint Vanuatu and PNG at the College Rifles Rugby Grounds on 7 October.
The Ngahau Siliva will play against France on 11 October and then against New Zealand on 14 October.
Meanwhile, the semi-finals will start on 19 October with the finals on 25 October.
Hosted by the New Zealand Defence Force from 7-25 October, the team will compete against defence teams from United Kingdom, France, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Vanuatu, and Papua New Guinea.
HMAF stated this is the first ever tournament of its kind for defence supporting women in sports.
