Suicide death in Ha’apai [1]

A 20-year-old man was confirmed to have committed suicide in Ha’ano, Ha’apai over the weekend. 

Chief Superintendent Fifita said today an inquest confirmed the death as a suicide. 

The incident occurred on Sunday, 17 July after a member of the family found him and contacted police. 

An inquest held earlier this week confirmed the death as suicide, he said.

No other details were released.
