Man collapsed and died on Sopu Road [1]

A man was found to have passed away on the side of the road on the waterfront at Sopu, Nuku'alofa, this morning, December 21. 

Police in Nuku’alofa said they received the report from a passerby. Police officers attended he scene and rushed the man to Vaiola Hospital.

It is understood that the man was walking on the road before collapsing.

Meanwhile, Police are investigating the case and waiting on a medical report to determine the circumstances of his death, before releasing more information.
