Returning Team Tonga face five weeks of quarantine [1]

Four members of Tonga's Olympic team arrived safely in Christchurch yesterday, on their way home to Tonga, ‘Amanaki Fakakovikaetau the Chef de Mission - Team Tonga, told Matangi Tonga tonight. They will spend a total of five weeks in quarantine in New Zealand and Tonga.
After arriving in Christchurch on Sunday from Narita, Tokyo, ‘Amanaki along with the Secretary General-TASANOC Takitoa Taumoepeau, and the Athletic Team Siueni Filimone and Ronald Fotofili, will spend 14 days in an MIQ facility (Novotel Christchurch).
“All are well and good spirit with a negative Covid-19 certificates from Tokyo Olympic Village test centre,” said ‘Amanaki.
He said that the last member of the team in Tokyo, Paula Sitapa (the NZ based Taekwondo coach) had represented Tonga in the closing ceremony last night, before catching a flight. “He got a seat to fly back to Christchurch today with the rest of the NZ Olympic team.”
Pita Taufatofua had left Tokyo on Saturday evening to return to Australia,
