A 76-year-old woman died last night, July 27 at Vaiola Hospital from the Nuku'alofa CBD house fire, which has now claimed three lives.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Tevita Vailea said they received the report of the death just before midnight.

Two others, including a 85-year-old woman and a child are still at Vaiola Hospital.

He also confirmed the ages of the other two deceased, a 61-year-old man and a seven-year-old child, who died after the house fire early Tuesday morning, July 27.

No other details were released by Police.

The Fire Service was still investigating the cause of the fire.

The home opposite the Nuku'alofa Police Station belonged to Ramona Moala and family.
