HRH Princess Pilolevu Tuita visited the Builders Burger Café at the Ocean Swimming Pool, Touliki on July 1. The business has been operating since April.

Operators Paea and Liena Pau’u said they were honoured to host the Princess, who showed her support by coming in for lunch with some members of her family, including her grandchildren who went in to swim.

The Princess also toured the compound looking at the revamped swimming pool, which had incorporated three swimming areas, including a swimming area for children between 12-15 years old.

“We are just so happy the Princess visited us, a small business venture who is just starting out. The Princess also commended the re-development of this area,” said Liena.

Paea who is the General Manager of the Ca’Bella Pacific Construction (Tonga) Ltd. started developing this area early this year.

A resident of the Touliki area, he decided to do something about the deteriorating state of the swimming pool, which at the time was closed to the public. following a drowning.

The cafe currently employs up to six people.
