Kolofo’ou district receives COVID-19 vaccinations [1]

Hundreds more people in the Kolofo'ou district received their first COVID-19 AstraZeneca vaccinations today, April 21.
The vaccinations were held in halls in Fasi, CBD areas at Tu’i and Railway Road and the Anglican Church Hall, which opened from 8:00am to 6:00pm.
The Ministry of Health is prioritizing those aged 45 years and above as well as those aged 18 years and over who have non-communicable diseases and / or who are living with disabilities.
A total of 78 locations across Tongatapu where people can get vaccinated for COVID-19 on set dates were confirmed by the Ministry of Health yesterday.
The vaccination program, which started on 19 April in Kolomotu'a, will run up to next month ending at ‘Atata Island on 8 May.
People can register online [2] or in person at one of the locations listed below and must show their identification card (National ID, Drivers Licence, Passport, or birth certificate) on arrival at the venues. The Ministry of Health urges people to have a meal before coming for their vaccination and to bring with them snacks and a bottle of water in case of long waiting times.
