After the third week of the 2007 Pacific Rugby Cup tournament the two Tongan rugby teams Tau'uta Reds and Tautahi Gold won both their matches last weekend.

The Tautahi Gold beat the Air Pacific Fijian Warriors 13-10 in a match at Teufaiva, Nuku'alofa, and the Tau'uta Reds beat the Upolu Samoa 31-30 in Apia.



The Tau'uta Reds have emerged as the top ranking team in the Points Table with 13 points, while the Tautahi Gold is ranked fifth with five points. The Tautahi Gold have won one from their three outings.

After the third week of the tournament, the Tau'uta is leading with 13 points, and tied in second place are the Fiji Barbarians and the Upolu Samoa with also 10 points each. Fiji Warriors are in third place with six points and the Tautahi Reds in fourth place with five points, and at the bottom of the table is the Savai'i Samoa with three points from three losses.

The Tau'uta Reds will play against Savai'i Samoa on Saturday April 21, Samoan time, at the Prince Edward Park, Savaii, while the Tautahi Gold will meet the Upolu Samoa at the Teufaiva Stadium also on Saturday.
