PSC reappoints CEO for Finance [1]

Tonga's CEO for Finance, Pilimilose Balwyn Fa’otusia has been re-appointed for another four-years, starting January 4.
Balwyn was appointed CEO in January 2017 and served until the end of her contract on January 3 this year, the Public Service Commission reported.
She began her public service career in 1990 as a Project Economist for the then Central Planning Department, followed by senior positions in government ministries, including Principal Project Economist, Deputy Director of Planning, Deputy Secretary for Finance, Deputy Commissioner of Revenue and Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Finance and National Planning.
In 2010, she worked at the World Bank in Washington DC as an Adviser to the Executive Director for two-years, among other postings.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Management from the University of the South Pacific in Fiji and a Master of Economic Studies from the University of Queensland in Australia.
