Dux of Queen Salote College was awarded to Senolita Yarnville Faka'osifolau (18), while dux of St Andrew's High School dux was awarded to Luseane Liuono (18), at the two secondary schools prize giving ceremonies on November 27.
A Form 7 student, Senolita aims to help develop Tonga, with a career asipiration in economics and statistics.
She was awarded her prize after topping the subjects of computer/ICT studies, economics, statistics and religion.
Rev Dr 'Ahio awarded the prizes at the Queen Salote College Hall. Queen Salote College is an all girls secondary school run by the Free Wesleyan Church.

Meanwhile, Luseane a Form 6 student at St Andrew's High School topped the subjects of English, Geography, and History.
She aims to become a teacher in the future.
The Minister for Education Hon Siaosi Sovaleni awarded the prizes at this co-ed secondary school, watched on by proud parents.
St Andrew's High School is operated by the Anglican Church.
Schools in Tonga are rounding up their academic year, with colourful prize giving ceremonies, which will conclude with government schools next week.
