I have not forgotten the message of the struggle that Tongan women face in their daily lives, explained to us by the wonderful women at the National Centre for Women and Children during our visit in July 2006.

I wore my Polo Shirt with their message to work on Thursday and had several discussions with colleagues about Tonga.

By sharing our knowledge and concerns we can demonstrate that our focus should extend beyond our immediate cities and countries, to our sisters and brothers in the Pacific.
