The Dux for Queen Salote College Rose Matilda Koloti and the Dux  of Tupou High School Simaima Uasila’a received their awards during separate prize giving ceremonies in Nuku'alofa today.

Rose Matilda Koloti (16) is a Form 7 student who aims to become a doctor, and she topped English, Biology, History and Computer Studies.

For the co-education Tupou High School at Vaololoa, Simaima Uasila’a (17) topped Form 6 Accounting, Economics, Mathematics and English. She aims to become an accountant, after further studies.

Both secondary schools are run by the Free Wesleyan Church. 

Meanwhile, prize giving ceremonies for other schools are to be held this week, concluding the end of the 2019 academic year.
