Lisa Adams wins gold for New Zealand [1]

Tongan-New Zealander shotput athlete Lisa Adams won Gold in shotput at the World Para Athletics Championships in Dubai on Saturday, 11 November. Lisa Adams is the younger sister of Olympic shotput champion Dame Valerie Adams.
The 28-year-old New Zealand Olympic prospect will enter the 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games as a gold medal favourite. Apart from winning gold at the World Para Athletics Championships, Lisa also set a new shotput world record (F37 classification) with a throw of 14.80 meters at the event.
Lisa was born with left hemiplegia, a form of cerebral palsy affecting the left side of her body.
