Local Chinese communities were targeted by Tongan mob during their violent protest for democracy. With that kind of ill-disciplined behavior shown by those Tongans they have a long way to earn any respect or adhere to rules of law. They try to portray themselves as friendly and peace loving people when try attract tourists and donation from other people but few people know the violent ill-disciplined nature of Tongan who attacked Chinese in Tonga. I doubt if there is any attempt from the Tongan community to stop those hooligans attacking Chinese.

This is not the first time Chinese are attacked by Tongan hooligans and drunks in Tonga. I don't think they do much to protect the ethnic Chinese and that really show the attitude and mentality of Tongans in

Tonga. Their violent nature is not uncommon outside their country. I sincerely hope they will change their attitude and help themselves to improve their image and progress.

It's time the Chinese community world wide take note of this and ensure the ethnic Chinese minority be protected from hooliganism in Tonga under any form of government.

We should keep watch on the situation and demand the protection of the silenced ethnic Chinese minorities in Tonga from those Tongan mobs who are making a mockery of the democracy they demand. These mobs must be captured and prosecuted fo the crimes they committed.
