Woman’s body found on 'Eua beach [1]

The remains of a female, found washed-up on a beach in 'Eua on September 12 has not yet been identified.

Tonga Police said today the identity of this woman had not been confirmed as they were waiting on a report from the pathologist at Vaiola Hospital.

However, they confirmed the body is that of a woman after it was found by a local fisherman on the north west coastline of the outer island.

No other information was released at this stage.

Meanwhile, there is speculation that the body may be that of a missing diver Marina Trost (43) from Germany, who was lost while diving in a cave called The Cathedral at 'Eua on August 11.
