Fire guts two houses in Patangata [1]

A blaze engulfed two houses situated in one property at Patangata as firefighters fought to put it out on a windy afternoon, today June 24.

Around midday fire trucks and police vehicles rushed down Vuna Road to the home situated on the seafront.

Fire gutted a two storey house situated next to a smaller one storey house belonging to Tevita and 'Ana 'Emelio.

Tonga Fire Services said this afternoon they will hold a debrief with firefighters and investigate the cause of the fire, with details to be confirmed later.

No one was reportedly injured in the fire.
