Police arrest four on illicit drug sale charges [1]

Four men were arrested at a home in Longolongo with illicit drugs packed ready for sale on Friday, May 3.

Deputy Police Commissioner Pelenatita Fe’ao Vaisuai said today, Police Drug Enforcement Taskforce seized 55 packs of cannabis (49.86 grams) and 15 packs of methamphetamine (97.47 grams).

Drug paraphernalia and cash were also seized.

She said the four accused, included a man (35) from Longolongo, a man (29)  from Hala’ovave, a man (30) from Hoi and a man (26) from Haveluloto. 

They are in police custody to appear in Court on a later date. 

"These arrests should reassure the community that preventing illicit drugs supply is a high priority for Police. We will continue to target those who supply drugs within our community, and hold them to account for their crimes."
