Team Tonga at 2019 Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi [1]

Team Tonga marched proudly at the opening ceremony of the 2019 Special Olympics in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirites on 14 March.

The four member team is made up of three shot put athletes and one 100 metre run. Accompanying the special Olympic delegation in Abu Dhabi are H.E. Hon Fanetupouvavau Tuivakano and Red Cross Secretary General Sione Taumoefolau.

Shot put athletes  Manatu Paletua, Paula Tupou and Ane Tuiketei will compete in their respective events tomorrow at the  Dubai Police Officers Club Stadium.

Siaosi Palanite will compete in the 100 metre run on 19 March.

Siaosi Mo'ata Mo'ui He Lotu Palanite (18) – 100m Run
