Prime Minister's wife dies aged 70 [1]

Neomai Tu’itupou Pohiva (70), the wife of Tonga’s Prime Minister Hon. ‘Akilisi Pohiva passed away yesterday evening, 17 December, at her home in Sopu.

The First Lady's passing was confirmed today by Lopeti Senituli, the PM’s Political and Media Adviser.

Her funeral service will be held tomorrow 19 December at 10:00am at the Free Wesleyan Church at Sopu-‘o-Taufa.

She will be laid to rest at Telekava cemetery.
