Mele Vaiaku and her son Head Boy and Best Overall Student, Sione Havea Jr Vaiaku, Head Girl and Dux, Fungalaau 'Amanaki Mafi, and her mother Mele 'Amanaki, Tonga High School prize giving ceremony, Queen Salote Memorial Hall, Nuku'alofa. 29 November 2018.

Tonga High School Head Girl, Fugalaau Elizabeth 'Amanaki Mafi, was awarded Dux at the prize-giving ceremony by the Prime Minister Hon ‘Akilisi Pohiva, today, 29 November.

The Proxime Accessit was awarded to ‘Elelupe Longokava, and Best Overall Student prize was awarded to Head Boy, Sione Havea Jr Vaiaku.

Special prizes from King Tupou VI were awarded to the Best Foreign Language Student, Juliet Vynka Aki Uera, and the Best Science Student, Vanessa Veamatahau.

A range of other awards were also presented to top students in each class and form, including special prizes for prefects, sub-prefects, school band, librarians, scripture union, and sports, as well as academic prizes.

Final student reports were also distributed marking the end of the school year for 2018.
