Four Ambassadors present credentials to King Tupou VI [1]

Four ambassadors to Tonga presented their credentials to HM King Tupou VI today, 8 November, at the Royal Palace in Nuku'alofa, in a formal ceremony during Diplomatic Week, marking the beginning of the ambassadorships.
The Ambassador of France HE Mr Sujiro Seam, based at the embassy in Suva, and the Ambassador of the Russian Federation HE Mr Georgy Zuey, based at the embassy in Wellington, presented their credentials this morning.
The Ambassador of Chile HE Mr Rodrigo Espinosa; and the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea HE Mr Seung-bae Yeo, based at their embassies in Wellington, also presented their credentials this afternoon.
The ambassadors will also the Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon ‘Akilisi Pohiva and the Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Mr Mahe’uli’uli Tupouniua, as part of their first official visit to Tonga.
Earlier this week, four ambassadors and one high commissioner presented their credentials to HM King Tupou VI.
