Lord Tu’ivakano case again adjourned [1]

Tongan noble and former Prime Minister, Lord Tu’ivakano is now expected to be called on October 30, at the Fasi Magistrate’s Court.
The Magistrate’s Court office confirmed that the case, which has been adjourned several times, was called today, October 23 and adjourned again to the new date.
Lord Tu’ivakano, who was arrested on March 1, was initially charged with 10 counts, including one of making a false declaration to obtain a passport, two perjury counts, five for accepting bribes and two counts of money laundering.
He is currently Tongatapu’s No. 1 Noble's Representative to Parliament.
