Parliamentary delegation to cheer Mate Ma'a Tonga not confirmed [1]

Tongan Parliament 2018.

It will cost around $45,000 pa‘anga for the Tongan Parliament to send a delegation of six people, including the Speaker Lord Fakafanua, “to show Parliament’s unwavering support for Mate Ma’a Tonga” on Saturday.

The Clerk of the House, Ms Gloria Pole’o told Matangi Tonga this evening that the final figure had yet to be finalised. This was because Members of Parliament who were currently overseas had yet to confirm if they would join the delegation in Auckland. 

The Mate Ma’a Tonga will play the Australian Kangaroo at the Mt Smart Stadium on 20 October 2018.
