Man found dead in Vava‘u [1]

Police are investigating the death of a man, aged in his 50s, who was found in Matamaka, Vava’u on Friday, June 22.

His death was reported to police in Vava'u and an inquest is being held to determine the circumstances of his death.

"We are waiting on the result of the inquest before releasing any further details," said a police spokesperson in Nuku'alofa today.
