Tyron Senituli breaks Australian powerlifting records [1]

Tyron Senituli of Brisbane, broke the Australian powerlifting records for bench press and squat at the North Queensland Games last Saturday 5 May.
Tyron, who is of Tongan descent, only started competing two years ago and is already participating international tournaments, as well as setting new Australian records.
At the North Queensland Games, Tyron bench pressed 241kgs and squatted 358kgs to beat the previous bench press record (240kgs) and previous squat record (357kgs).
The 25-year-old represented Australia at the 2017 World Classic Powerlifting Championships in Belarus, where he was ranked 9th out of 15th competitors in the 120+kg division. In that competition, Tyron bench pressed 232.5 kgs, squatted 325 kgs and executed a deadlift of 332.5 kgs.
The winner of the 2017 World Classic Powerlifting Championships, 32-year-old Ray Williams of the United States, bench pressed 242kgs, squatted 470kgs and performed a deadlift of 377kgs.
