Man missing at Houma blow holes [1]

A man remains missing at the Houma Blow Holes (Pupu’a Puhi) after he allegedly jumped into the sea on Sunday, April 8.
Police received the call for assistance at around 8:00am and dispatched its search and rescue boat to the area.
The search started from around 10:00am to 3:00pm but the man was not found. The search had to be called off because the sea was very rough and is still rough today, due to a Tropical Cyclone alert, said police.
It is alleged that this man and another man jumped off to sea. The other drifted and was found alive on the coastline between Vaotu’u and Houma. While the other man remains missing.
A search on land continues.
