Funeral of Vinisia Hefa held at Haveluloto [1]

Vinisia Lose Hefa (36) was finally laid to rest yesterday, July 19, at the Piki pea Vela Cemetery, Haveluloto, following a funeral service at the Fakamolemole Free Wesleyan Church, conducted by Rev. Dr Manase Tafea.

Vinisia was the driver who died together with Prince Tu'ipelehake and Princess Kaimana in a road accident at Menlo Park, California, USA on July 6. Her remains were returned from the USA on July 18, and her 'apo, night of mourning was held on the same evening at her home, Painitu'uua, Haveluloto.

Vinisia was born on April 20, 1970, at Haveluloto, Tongatapu, the eldest of the four children of Siosaia Hefa of Ha‘ano and Felemea, and Fifita Langiola Hefa of ‘Utulei.

She is survived by her mother Fifita, two sisters Seini and Ane, and a brother ‘Aisea.

Meanwhile the remains of the late Prince Tu‘ipelehake and the late Princess Kaimana Tuku...’aho arrived this morning July 20 from America. Their Takipo or night of mourning will be held tonight before their burial tomorrow July 21 at the Langi Na Moala at Lapaha.
