Tonga will enjoy a public holiday tomorrow, 29 November, to celebrate Mate Ma’a Tonga’s historic achievements at the Rugby League World Cup 2017.

The Mate Ma’a Tonga team arrived this afternoon and tomorrow will receive an award of the Royal Orders in recognition of their contribution to sports.

The Investiture Ceremony is scheduled to take place at the Royal Palace tomorrow afternoon.

There will be a program to welcome the players tomorrow for members of the public which will be aired on radio and tv once confirmed.
