Despite the untimely death last week of Prince Tu'ipelehake, the chairman of the National Committee for Political Reform (NCPR), the Talanoa meetings that were scheduled for the USA are to continue.

Sione Tekiteki, of the NCPR said today that as scheduled, 'Aisea Taumoepeau and Fatai Pale who were to accompany Prince Tu'ipelehake on their Talanoa meetings in the USA were continuing with their meetings, "excepting for the Talanoa meeting in Seattle which has been cancelled."

Sione said that 'Aisea would accompany the bodies of Prince Tu'ipelehake, and Princess Kaimana to Tonga on Thursday July 20, but he would return to complete the scheduled Talanoa meetings in the USA, following the funeral.
