The funerals of the late Prince Tu'ipelehake and the late Princess Kaimana will be held in Tonga on Friday July 21.

The Chief Secretary to Cabinet, 'Eseta Fusitu'a said this afternoon that following the arrival in Tonga of the deceased on July 20, the traditional night of mourning will be held that night and the burial will take place, the following day. "The logistics and the rest of the program, we are still working on," said 'Eseta.

Meanwhile, Fifita Langiola Hefa, the mother of the late Vinisia Hefa, was not sure when the body of her daughter will arrive in Tonga. She said that her son, 'Aisea told her this morning that Vinisia's body was still in the hospital. Fifita was certain that her daughter would eventually be brought back to Tonga for burial.

A California coroner's report that was released on Saturday, July 8 confirmed that Prince Tu'ipelehake, Princess Kaimana and their driver, Vinisia Hefa, died following a road accident. The accident occurred at 5 pm on July 6 (Tongan time).
