No arrests in Popua homicide death [1]

No arrests have been made so far during a Police investigation into the homicide death of Kevini Maka (22), whose body was recovered from a waterway next to Popua Park earlier this month.
Police said today they are following leads as their investigation continues, but there was “No arrest yet.”
The body of the deceased has been released to family and his funeral was held on Friday, September 15.
"The post-mortem was completed on Friday September 8, and doctor's report confirmed this case to us as a homicide," said a police spokesperson.
The body was found in the waterway by people from the surrounding area on September 5. The newly dug canal situated between the golf course of the Popua Park and Patangata area is a project of the Prime Minister.
