Viliami Ma'asi new coach of Peterborough Lions [1]

Former 'Ikale Tahi prop, Viliami Ma'asi, is the new coach of an English Rugby Club, the Peterborough Lions. The Peterborough Lions compete in the Midlands Premier tournament, a fifth-division professional league in the English Rugby Union competition system.

The 42-year-old Viliami Ma’asi was chosen to be the new general of the team after the end of the last season earlier this year. According to the Peterborough Telegraph, Ma’asi has recruited 10 new players for the club including four Tongans.

Ma’asi played 32 games for Tonga from 1997 to 2009, including at the 2003 Rugby World Cup.
