Four arrested for alleged drug possession [1]

Three men and one woman were arrested last week, after Tonga Police discovered alleged drugs and cannabis on a property in ‘Umusi, Nuku’alofa.

The four suspects were a 48-year-old man from ‘Umusi, a 49-year-old man from Houmakelikao, and a 31-year-old woman from Pahu. Another male from Houmakelikao was also arrested but his age was not released.

Tonga police were executing a search warrant on the property at 8:00am on Thursday 10 August. During the search, Police uncovered two packets of suspected drugs, four packets of suspected cannabis seeds (131 seeds) and Another two packets of a suspected drug (ice).
