French Rugby Club, RC Toulonnais (Toulon) has announced the signing of Malakai Fekitoa. Toulon is one of the top rugby clubs in France and employs rugby legends such as Ma’a Nonu and Bryan Habana. The signing comes after weeks of speculation by New Zealand media that Fekitoa would move to France.
The 25-year-old Fekitoa, who has 24 caps for the All Blacks, only recently played for the All Blacks two weeks ago against the British & Irish Lions. He currently plays for the Highlanders and is considered by many to be one of the best rugby centres in the world.
A New Zealand Tongan, the 6' 2" Fekitoa was born in Ha'apai and attended Liahona High School.
