Govt pays allowance to ‘Ikale Tahi [1]

The Tonga Government has announced further funding to the Tonga Rugby Union (TRU) in support of the ‘Ikale Tahi. The new allowance follows last week’s allowance.

A Government statement said that Cabinet approved the allowance of 1,000 Pa’anga to each ‘Ikale Tahi player on Thursda to encourage investment in Rugby talent and to reaffirm Government’s commitment to strengthening Rugby in Tonga.
