Miss Heilala Talent Competition. 4 July 2017.

Sixteen contestants in the Miss Heilala Pageant cheered up a full crowd at Queen Salote Memorial Hall on Tuesday night, July 4, with their talent show, the second judging event in Nuku'alofa.

The girls performed hula, hip hop, Samoan siva and a Tongan tau’olunga, while others performed a skit, sang, modelled, and showed a painting.

The top five points in talent were announced in random order:

  • Miss Tonga Tourism, 'Ana Fehoko Havea
  • Miss Mate Ma’a Tonga, 'Ana Koloi
  • Miss Tuitui Fashion, Titania Matekuolava
  • Miss Havelu Park, Edna Paea
  • Miss Appraxus New Zealand, Ophelia Kava

The judging competition continues this week with the tau'olunga, sarong and island creation. The winner will be announced on Friday night, July 7 during a ball.
