TRU positive Teufaiva can host July internationals [1]

He said today the meeting, which included three World Rugby officials and a consultant from TURF Management from New Zealand, was a positive one.
TURF Management is the company that will be doing the work on the playing area at the stadium. "The consultant after viewing the field told us at the meeting that he saw no reason why the games could not be held at Teufaiva because the grass is in good condition. The World Rugby officials also saw the field themselves and showed positive signs.

Fe’ao said he expected that Teufaiva can host the games with Samoa on 1 July and Fiji on 8 July. But the confirmation and decision would be from the World Rugby.
"The consultant will do this report and submit it to World Rugby on this matter and we will be informed about a confirmation soon," he said.
The World rugby officials left Tonga today.
Meanwhile, it has already been reported in the media that the Fiji v 'Ikale Tahi game will be played in Fiji.
