The observation of 10 nights of mourning following the burial of the late Queen Mother Halaevalu Mata’aho on March 1 at the Royal Tombs have ended, and people have started to take down the black and purple bunting draped around Nuku'alofa.
Many Tongans wore black for the mourning period, while local radio stations have been playing hymns.
