The Tau'uta Red's 13-8 victory over the Tautahi Gold on Saturday, May 6, kept up Tonga's hope for a place in the Grand Final of the IRB Pacific Cup.

As we are heading for Round 5th and the final round of the Pacific Cup, the points table is :

Molisoni 'Otukolo, the manager of the Tau'uta Reds is optimistic that his team will get to the final, and play the Fiji Warriors. He said that there were a lot of possibilities, but foremost that they must beat the Warriors.

A victory by the Tautahi over the Fiji Barbarians could also deprive an all-Fijians final. If Molisoni has it his way he would like the Tau'uta to beat the Warriors, the Tautahi to beat the Barbarians, and a victory by 'Upolu over Savai'i, "then we are sure for a final against the Fiji Warriors, I think in Suva."
