The son of a Tongan noble hopes to marry the King of Tonga's only daughter, Princess Angelika Latufuipeka Tuku’aho (33).
Hon. Faka’osifono Valevale first proposed to the Princess three years ago, in January 2014.
He and his family visited the Royal Palace in Nuku’alofa last Tuesday.
The Royal Central website reported that Eiki Fakaʻosifono, the son of Lord Nuku, during a traditional faitohi ceremony for a second time had approached the Princess’s parents to ask for her hand in marriage.
"Afterwards, a representative of the King informed them that the King had not yet made a decision."
