Alumni donate $10,000 to Tonga Police [1]

Tonga's Police Force has received a donation of $10,000 and two trophies presented by former Tonga Police living in the United States who appreciate their work
A former policewoman 'Ilaisaane Inukiha'angana presented the $10,000 donation to to Acting Deputy Commissioner 'Atunaisa Taumoepeau in Tonga.
A former policewoman 'Eleni Mone also presented two cup trophies for Police to award to their 'Best Female Recruit' and for the police band.
At the same time the Police announced their own donations to support community work.
They have donated $250 each to the Tonga National Centre for Women and Children, and the Women Crisis Centre. The money comes from a $500 cash prize won by the Tonga Police in the 2016 Tapa Pride Float Parade last month.
Tonga Police Development Program Project Manager Inspector Linda Motu'apuaka, and NZ Police Advisors Ged Byers and Eddie Lyttle presented the donations to Lola Baker from the TNCWC and Lesila To'ia from the WCC.
