Cruise ship visitors experience Tongan culture [1]

The largest of four cruise ships visiting the capital this week, the Radiance of the Seas today brought 2250 passengers to visit Nuku’alofa, with some choosing to visit and experience Tongan culture at Ancient Tonga Cultural Tours in Fangaloto.
Others took bus tours to beaches and sites around the main island, or roamed around the shops and market bringing some Christmas buzz to the Central Business District and boosting local tourism activities.
Radiance of the Seas opearated by the U.S Royal Caribbean International Company stopped over from Vava’u its passengers along with 878 crew, before sailing to Auckland.
The first cruise ship Europa II arrived at Vuna Wharf from the Cook Islands on Monday, December 12 bringing 466 passengers and 374 crew.
On Thursday, December 15 Crystal Symphony cruise will arrive with 500 passengers and 570 crew.
The Costa Atlantica will visit on Friday, December 16, bringing 1965 passengers and 808 crew.
