Festive season starts with lighting of Christmas tree [1]

Christmas holiday celebrations have begun over the weekend and children were treated to the lighting of a big Christmas tree in the Nuku'alofa CBD with prizes to be won on Christmas Eve.

A car worth $16,000 pa'anga is a gift in a draw to be announced on Christmas Eve.

Hosted by Tonga Communications Corporation on November, 25 the happy event was attended by many children and parents.

The children also enjoyed a jumping castle and icecream at the Christmas tree situated in front of the Tonga Post Building.
