Swimmer, Amini Fonua fifth in Heat 1 [1]

Tongan swimmer Amini Tuitavake Fonua (26) came fifth in Heat 1 with a time of 1:06.40 in the 100m Men's Breaststroke event at the Olympic Aquatics Stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on Saturday August 6.

Amini's time ranks him 45 in the swimming event that saw the world record broken in the heats by British swimmer Adam Peaty with 57.55s. 

The best eight swimmers from six heats and two semi finals go through to the final today - they are from Japan, USA (2), Brazil (2), Great Britain, Russia, and Kazakistan.
