Motu'apuaka laid to rest at Te'ekiu [1]

The King’s Matapule Motu'apuaka was laid to rest at Fakaulunafa Cemetery on Saturday, 23 July attended by King Tupou VI and Queen Nanasipau’u.
Motu'apuaka died suddenly on 2 July from organ failure at the age of 68 years, in Las Vegas, USA.
The funeral cortege arrived in Tonga on Friday morning, 22 July and the 'Apo was held later that night at the Free Wesleyan Church, Te'ekiu.
Born 'Inoke Tu'alau Motu'apuaka, he had served three kings of Tonga, Taufa'ahau Tupou IV, George Tupou V and HM King Tupou VI.
He is survived by his wife Laura and six children (five girls and one boy) and 10 grandchildren.
