Body of Canadian woman at Vaiola [1]

The body of a 56-year-old Canadian woman who was found dead in a yacht in Neiafu, Vava’u earlier this month has beenbrought over to Vaiola Hospital in Nuku’alofa.
The husband (54), a U.S citizen, who has been charged with manslaughter in relation to her death, remains in police custody in Neiafu.
Police said today a post-mortem examination to find out the cause of death will be carried out at Vaiola.
On 7 July, police received a report from the husband that he had found his wife dead on board their yacht 'Sea Oak'.
Police arrested and charged the husband with manslaughter a few days later.
It is understood that the couple arrived in Vava’u on their yacht on 26 May and docked at the Puatalefusi Harbour. They had visas to stay in Tonga until 21 August.
