HM King Tupou VI will mark his 57th birthday on Monday, 4 July, a public holiday in Tonga.

The Palace Office confirmed that official birthday celebration will include a Military Parade by His Majesty’s Armed Forces (HMAF) at Mala’e Pangai Lahi in central Nuku’alofa.

This is expected to be followed by a Thanksgiving and Royal Luncheon at the Royal Palace grounds.

At the same time, the Heilala Festival events continue in the capital.
