Predictions for 2006 [1]

Editor,
The year (2005) is about to turn and leave us all in the dust and 2006 is upon us. I have patiently waited to see the Political Reformers... (Edwards, Niu, Pohiva, et al) detailed plan for this reformation. So far, nothing worth spitting! I am restless and I am close to giving up on some of our own reformers. So far, they claim to have THE plan but they are not willing to share it with the public. What...s up with this?
While we are waiting (snoring is allowed), I feel an obligation to share my New Year resolution with my fellow readers. Truly, I do not subscribe to this madness anymore. I gave up on it years ago. I am stabbing blindly into predictions. These are some of my predictions for Year 2006.
1. The Royal family will remain in power though they will be more willing for power sharing due to the new king...s temperament and the public...s resentment of their new king.
2. The new king will offer Tonga to China as a colony or a "Protectorate State" of China.
3. The public will hear a lot more about the Royal family...s tyranny and very little from the Reformers plan, hence reviving the dog-eat-dog mentality and infighting within the people...s political parties.
4. Mr. Akilisi Pohiva will split and form his own political party after the new Prime Minister (Mr Sevele) refusing to work with him ... This scenario applies if T4 still rules. If Tupouto...a becomes king, forget it. Mr. Pohiva will be thrown in jail...
5. The PSA will split into two organizations each claiming to be the "Real Deal".
6. The government will be on the threshold of bankruptcy due to its inability to pay its obligations.
7. The Tonga High School Alumni Association will still be searching for missing receipts to balance their books.
8. The Liahona High School Alumni will still be asked to have faith in Jesus while their funds are in "The Good Lord only knows" status.
9. Peau Vava...u will be elbowed out of existence by the new competition.
10. Foa will still be missing their idiot.
Happy New Year!!
