Police brass band spreads Christmas cheer [1]

As government offices closed for the holidays Christmas cheer was spread around Nuku’alofa today, Wednesday 23 December, by the Tonga Police brass band.

The band performed Christmas songs to shoppers in the Central Business District in the morning before performing at the ‘Ofa-Tui-'Amanaki Centre for the disabled this afternoon.

The band's popular Christmas songs moved some of the residents who got up and danced.

Meanwhile, people were busy today in the CBD making last minute Christmas shopping trips - evident in long queues at MBF Bank and busy traffic in town and around the Fair.
